You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects to meet our clients' needs and contribute to the growth and success of Black & Veatch.   You will be assigned to a functional area in Substation.Internship Program Benefits Hands-on experience at an employee-owned engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction company Learning opportunities through mentorship and co/lab trainings Networking opportunities with leading experts in the industry Key Responsibilities Assist in the development of electrical engineering deliverables like reports, drawings, specifications, and studies Assist with the engineering analyses, designs, and report production Collaborate with other disciplines and schedule project deliverables Organize and evaluate data, utilizing computer modeling to analyze systems Organize project materials, references, and documentation Preferred Qualifications Relevant coursework or knowledge in Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three Phase Power Calculations Understanding of engineering design principles and design guides Problem-solving skills, effective written communication, and the ability to build relationships Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Minimum Qualifications No experience required. Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Electrical Engineering program.
