About The Role
Love pharmacy but ready to leave the retail counter behind? As a Bilingual Enrollment Pharmacy Technician at TrustRx Pharmacy, you’ll put your pharmacy knowledge to work entirely by phone — no walk-in customers, no drive-thru line, no nights or weekends, in a calm, low-stress environment. You’re the friendly first voice patients, prescribers and referral partners hear when they reach us, helping them in English and Spanish to get set up quickly so patients receive their medications without delay.
Why you’ll like it here
A low-stress environment: No rush-hour lines, frustrated counter crowds or closing-time scramble — just a calm office, a supportive team and work that stays at work when your shift ends.
Phone only, no walk-ins: No counter lines, register or drive-thru window — just focused, one-on-one conversations from your own desk.
A predictable schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. No nights, weekends or closing shifts.
Scheduled breaks: Real breaks on a set schedule, not whenever the line finally dies down.
Competitive pay and strong benefits:20–24.50 per hour (based on experience) , plus company-funded HSA contributions of 2,000–4,000 a year and a 401(k) match from day one.
Training and support: Hands-on training on our systems and workflows, with a pharmacist and team always available for questions.
Your Spanish is an asset: Help Spanish-speaking patients navigate their care in their own language every day.
Key responsibilities
Welcome every caller: Serve as the first point of contact, in English and Spanish, for every patient, prescriber and referral partner (including law offices that refer patients to us) — from answering the phone and completing intake to following up on refills and address updates. New or returning, you’re the voice they hear first.
Patient and referral onboarding: Accurately record patient demographics, prescription, prescriber, insurance and referral information in the pharmacy system; maintain and update existing referral records.
Phone-based support: Help patients, physicians, law offices, sales reps and insurance providers by phone throughout a steady day, with clear workflows and a supportive team behind you. Resolve issues on the first call whenever possible.
Prescription and coverage coordination: Contact prescriber offices to obtain or clarify prescriptions and missing information, and work with insurance providers to confirm coverage.
Delivery coordination: Partner with the fulfillment team and carrier contacts (e.g., dedicated FedEx account managers) to schedule first fills, expedite deliveries and resolve workflow issues.
Sales partnership: Log detailed notes for every interaction, share account details with relevant departments and alert sales reps to account exceptions so referrals become active patients.
Clinical escalation: Route clinical questions and medication concerns to the pharmacist.
Process improvement: Spot opportunities to improve quality, workflow efficiency and internal procedures that drive referral conversions.
Compliance: Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA, Arizona State Board of Pharmacy rules and company policies at all times.
