What you'll do

Prepare and review tax returns, respond to routine client tax questions, gather information for tax compliance, and conduct tax research and special projects.
Support clients in resolving complex issues and train interns.

What you need

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, and one year of relevant experience is preferred; internship experience may qualify.
CPA eligibility is preferred, along with strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative approach, and an interest in helping clients succeed.

As an Experienced Tax Associate, you’ll gain deep industry insight. You’ll be able to sit across the table from a CFO from your industry and speak their language. You will become a true industry consultant. CLA is looking to hire an Experienced Tax Associate to join our Manufacturing practice! As an Experienced Tax Associate, you will: Prepare and review tax returns with the tax team. Handle routine client tax questions and work with client to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance. Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed. Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns. Develop and train team interns to help them build inspired careers. Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results. What you will need: You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1 year of relevant experience preferred (prior experience via internship(s) may be acceptable). Eligible to sit for the CPA preferred. You jump at the chance to help others and you’re ready to join a team of high-performing people.
