What you'll do

- Perform a multi-point inspection on every vehicle
- Find needed services or repairs and record recommendations in MPI
- Prepare estimates for Additional Sales Requests and report findings
- Assist other technicians with light duty mechanical work as needed
- Maintain back shop cleanliness and equipment calibration
What you need
- At least six months' experience
- Valid driver's license
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment, back belt, safety glasses and safety shoes
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Extended workdays of up to 10 hours, weekends and nights, as necessary
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and utilize reports

Lexus of Nashville has the exciting opportunity to expand its team with the addition of a Full-Time Express Service Technician. Candidate must have at least six months' experience.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates actively with team servicing of every customer vehicle to ensure fast, expert service
Perform minor services which include, but are not limited to, checking and changing the lube, oil and filter of each assigned vehicle following dealership and manufacturer procedures.
Report any problems to the Service Advisor, or Service Director/Manager.
Perform multi-point inspection on every vehicle (Customer Pay/Warranty/Extended Warranty).
Find all legitimately needed services / repairs on the vehicle and record appropriate recommendations in MPI.
Prepare an accurate estimate for all Additional Sales Requests and report findings to Service Advisor to be presented to the Guest.
Assist other technicians with light duty mechanical work as needed.
Dedicates work time to providing excellent customer service
Communicates with Service Manager, Service Consultants and other Technicians to meet Lexus time standards and to exceed customer requirements.
Maintains back shop cleanliness and equipment calibration to Lexus standards
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Valid Driver's License
Commitment to safety: Use of appropriate personal protective equipment, back belt, safety glasses and safety shoes at all times
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Extended workdays of up to 10 hours, weekends and nights, as necessary

Extensive spoken communication for customer and associate relationship skills
