What you'll do
- Inspect each part and diagnose exactly what repair it needs — a cut, a trim, a file, a bend, or a smoothing pass.
- Set up with the right tools and materials to bring the part back to insurance-quality standard.
- Work plastic and resin components by hand — cutting, trimming, filing, bending, or smoothing — to correct shape, fit, and finish.
- Run every repaired part through quality control before it moves to the next station.
- Follow assembly and safety procedures on every job, every time.
- Bring your ideas to the team on better ways to repair and improve parts.
- Keep your work area safe and hazard-free.
- High school diploma or equivalent practical experience — required.
- You catch defects and imperfections before a part ships — an eye for detail matters here.
- You can stand, stay focused, and work with your hands through a full 8-10 hour shift.
- You're coachable — willing to pick up new repair techniques from teammates and trainers.
- Prior repair or fabrication work experience, especially with plastic and resin.
