YOUR ROLE ST is excited to welcome a Hardware and Software Design Intern at our ST office located in Santa Clara, CA. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Board development using PCB tools to create schematics and PCBs Software development to communicate to hardware (microcontroller and power devices) YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Solid electronics background in: - Analog, digital and power electronics (up to a few kW) - Regulators (linear, switching, synchronous, negative, charge pump) - DAC and ADC Firmware/software programming experience (Python, C, C++) Excellent debugging and problem solving skills Experience with typical lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, waveform generators) Reliable self-starter who can work autonomously Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Focused on delivering measurable results Sense of urgency and can efficiently manage priorities At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base hourly rate range for this role is between $32 and $43 USD.
