Job Overview: The Junior Creative Engineer sits at the intersection of UI/UX implementation, digital visual support, and modern front-end web development. In this role, you will help bring client experiences to life from initial wireframing and layout support in Figma to clean, responsive execution in Webflow, Vue.js, and Nuxt. You will work under the guidance of senior creative engineering staff to construct clean UI components, maintain web design systems, and ensure fast, responsive performance across all digital deliverables. Responsibilities Development & Maintenance: Assist in building and maintaining responsive websites (primarily using Webflow, and Vue/Nuxt platforms), ensuring accurate alignment with brand guidelines and project requirements. Design Implementation: Translate Figma UI/UX designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes into high-fidelity, fully functional web pages and components. Customization: Help customize themes, templates, and CMS structures to fit specific project needs while adhering to component-based architecture. Optimization & QA: Assist with site speed optimization, image compression, cross-browser testing, and mobile responsiveness checks to ensure seamless user experiences. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with designers, content strategists, and marketing team members to integrate visual assets, dynamic content, and interactive animations. Technical Support & Bug Fixing: Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve routine front-end bugs, broken links, and styling inconsistencies across active builds. Integrations Support: Assist with configuring and testing standard third-party tools, app integrations, and marketing analytics tags. Performance Tracking: Support the setup of basic site analytics and track performance metrics to help the team gather actionable project insights. Best Practices & Documentation: Follow internal web standards, maintain clean code documentation, and actively participate in team code reviews to learn and improve development workflows. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in front-end development or web design, or a recent graduate from a relevant program. Portfolio showcasing web design, UI components, or digital experiences. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including responsive design principles. Familiarity with Figma and an interest in UI/UX implementation. Basic knowledge of Webflow, Vue.js, or Nuxt, or eagerness to learn. Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn. Ability to collaborate with a team and incorporate creative feedback. Bonus: Familiarity with APIs, design systems, animations, or AI-powered design tools. Nice to have Familiarity with Python.
