SIGN-ON Bonus Offered: $6,000.00 - (Paid in quarterly installments and discussed upon hiring). The Animal Foundation is seeking highly motivated Licensed Veterinary Technicians to help us sustain our mission. You would be joining our team of veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinary assistant support staff to bring the most effective care to the animals in our shelter. This position includes both shelter medicine and surgery responsibilities. Our clinic has many of the same tools as a full-service veterinary hospital including three surgical suites, ultrasound, digital radiography, in-house blood work, and options for referral of advanced cases. We practice the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare and Fear Free Sheltering. We take in any animal that comes through our doors regardless of health, temperament, or species. Position Summary: Responsible for performance of all functions of a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) according to State of Nevada veterinary law.
