What you'll do

• Full time
• Day Shift- some night or weekend work may be required
• Location: This position will work across the following quarries and locations – Columbia, Pottsville, Lewisburg, Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, TN River, Delaney Loop, Hickman, Burns, Rutherford Co., and Deason.
• Wages starting at $25.00/hr - based on experience.
• Performing fixed plant repairs
• Recommending plant improvements
• Diagnosing, and repairing mobile heavy equipment
• Assisting with various production duties as needed.
• Experience or background in millwright type work – metal fabrication, cutting, and machinery repair – is preferred.
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• At least 1 year of previous professional welding experience is required – with emphasis on mig and stick welding.
• Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is required.
• Experience in steel erection/destruction - fabricating, cutting, fitting, and welding - is preferred.
• Mechanic experience in diagnosing and repairing mobile heavy equipment is required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens is preferred but not required.
• Previous mining/quarry/maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
• Annual performance-based merit increases.
• Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
• May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform any other duties assigned and/or assist other areas as necessary.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary.
• Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions.
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record.
