What you'll do
- Manage patient intakes, collect and process lab specimens, record vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist physicians during visits, perform EKGs and point-of-care testing, and sterilize medical equipment.
What you need
- Requires a Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma.
- Preferred qualifications include EMR system proficiency and bilingual English/Spanish; the role also requires physical abilities including lifting up to 50 pounds and knowledge of standard precautions and PPE.
- Education: a professional certificate or a high school diploma
