What you'll do
- Manage patient intakes, collect specimens, record vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and sterilize equipment.
- Assist physicians during visits and procedures, perform EKGs and point-of-care testing, and support data entry.
What you need
- Requires a Medical Assistant Certificate and a high school diploma.
- Requires knowledge of standard precautions, appropriate PPE use, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; bilingual English and Spanish and EMR proficiency are preferred.
- Education: a high school diploma or a professional certificate
