The intern will contribute to the preparation of technical documents, mine designs, and financial models while working with a multi-discipline engineering team. They will also assist in the design and costing of mining cycles and participate in project meetings to support feasibility studies.

Your Opportunity
Our Global Mining team has a need for an Engineering Intern based out of our
office in Chandler, AZ. You would work within our infrastructure engineering
team in support of various clients in completing feasibility studies and
detailed engineering projects for underground and surface mining operations.
Your Key Responsibilities

Engineering and Design
* Contribution to the preparation of quality technical documents, mine designs,
mine plans or financial models to Stantec Mining standards.

basis.
* Participation in project meetings.
* Perform various office tasks as required to deliver a quality product on
schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
Your Capabilities and Credentials
* An interest in acquiring mining specific experience in your discipline.
* Knowledge of a mine design/planning software such as Vulcan, Minesite,
MinePlan, Carlson, Deswik etc. is an asset.
* You must be a self-starter and be able to work in a team setting.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are
provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final
agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications,
experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus
eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the
agreed number of working hours per week.
