The Operations Assistant will provide support to plant operations at all plants in the Western Zone with high attention to TSMC and Micron Boise as they are going through major expansion/construction projects. Work in close alignment with zone gas plant managers and engineers to reduce their administrative workload. Work with the commercial team at the Phoenix TSMC commercial office for general office administration support.
Purchasing support
Manage purchase requisitions
Validate all requisition submissions to confirm that mechanical, performance, and scope requirements are explicitly articulated
Manage purchase orders
Write authorizations for capital expenditures (ACE) at request of plant management for all gas production facilities
Manage receiving of purchase orders
Support purchase order and invoice discrepancy resolution
Resolve purchasing problems and follow up to ensure timely and accurate product delivery
Purchase local supplies with P-Card and manage P-card receipt entries for TSMC operations
Manage the addition of new vendors to the approved supplier list (via Graphite) and Avetta
Manage current use vendors that drop out of Avetta Identify and implement pricing agreements with preferred suppliers
Work with plant managers, engineering teams to ensure all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products
Assist with expense report submission and managing office petty cash
MOC Coordinator
Assist operations in the entering of MOCs
Routinely review open MOCs and ensure MOCs are moving toward closure
Receptionist Duties
Answering phones, greeting visitors, controlling access to the office
Tracking supplies for the office and TSMC gas plant
Purchasing and restocking supplies for the office and TSMC gas plant
Manage and coordinate the access and badging of visitors and vendors to the office and TSMC gas plant
Organization and support of internal and external meetings at the commercial office and TSMC gas plant
Support of TSMC meetings utilizing the TSMC portal
Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and incoming deliveries
Team Support
Assist managers with onboarding new employees (laptop, cell phone, etc…)
Assist managers and engineers with maintaining a critical spare part list and inventory
Assist commercial team with generating monthly billing reports
Assist gas plant team with standardizing and generating monthly production reports
Assist gas plant manager with payroll entry
Assist with annual PJP filing with TSMC
Assist with audit action item closure
