Job Summary
: Performs technical preparation of cytology slides from ThinPrep samples for microscopic examination; presents quality control screening of slides.
Essential Functions:
Identify cytology specimens.
Create sample worksheets utilizing dMDL.
Label cytology imaging slides with patient identifiers.
Preparing slides utilizing ThinPrep 2000
Operate Veristain
Operate Tissue-Tek Film cover slipper for cytology imaging slides
Load and operate ThinPrep Imaging System
Process sample worksheets
Manual preparation of cytology slide using GAA protocol
Additional Responsibilities:

3 month Clinical Laboratory Accessioner Training preferred
