We are looking for a Physician Assistant to join our Sports Medicine team and partner closely with our orthopedic physicians to provide exceptional, patient-centered care. Build meaningful patient relationships. Sports medicine care often involves an ongoing relationship with patients. Within the physician–PA relationship and your scope of practice, you'll have the opportunity to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, manage follow-up care, and make clinical decisions. Compensation Schedule/Type: Full-Time | Onsite Annualized Salary: Starting at $110,000–$145,000 for a 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) Compensation within the posted range is based on relevant experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Compensation is prorated based on FTE and scheduled hours for positions working less than 40 hours per week. Bonus Eligibility: Yes Requirements What You'll Do As a Physician Assistant on our Sports Medicine team, you will: Evaluate patients presenting with sports-related injuries, orthopedic conditions, and musculoskeletal complaints. Obtain medical histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations. Develop and manage patient treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic physicians. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing within your scope of practice. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and follow-up care. Perform appropriate procedures and interventions within your scope of practice and training. Coordinate referrals and additional services when appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. Consult with physicians regarding complex cases or changes in patient condition. Provide continuity of care through follow-up visits and ongoing patient communication. Participate in clinical rounds and other patient-care activities as assigned. What We're Looking For We're looking for a PA who combines strong clinical skills with a genuine commitment to patient care. You will be successful in this role if you are someone who: Enjoys working collaboratively with physicians and clinical teammates. Is comfortable making thoughtful clinical decisions within your scope of practice. Communicates medical information clearly and compassionately. Builds trust and rapport with patients. Can balance independence with knowing when to seek physician collaboration. Enjoys working in a specialty environment where patient care is the focus. Is organized, dependable, and attentive to detail. Has an interest in sports medicine, orthopedics, and musculoskeletal care. Experience & Credentials Required: Bachelor's degree. Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current NCCPA certification. Current Colorado Physician Assistant license. Current CPR certification. Preferred: At least one year of experience practicing as a Physician Assistant. Experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, or another musculoskeletal specialty.
