Christianson Air Conditioning & Plumbing is\nlooking for a dependable, motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our Residential\nNew Construction department. This is an opportunity to learn the plumbing trade\nwhile working alongside experienced, licensed plumbers on new home construction\nprojects. We're looking for someone who shows up ready to work, puts safety\nfirst, follows instructions, and takes pride in learning the trade. Key Responsibilities Assist\n experienced, licensed plumbers with installing water supply lines, drain,\n waste, and vent piping, gas piping, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing\n components in new residential construction Learn\n and follow proper installation procedures, jobsite instructions, and\n safety practices Load,\n unload, transport, and organize plumbing tools and materials Maintain\n clean, organized, and safe work areas, including company vehicles Who We're Looking For Someone\n comfortable performing physical work indoors and outdoors in varying\n weather conditions, including heat, cold, and inclement weather Someone\n who works cooperatively with licensed plumbers and other crew members Someone\n who pays attention to details and takes pride in doing quality work Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per\nhour/DOE Schedule: Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Full-time position with possible overtime Flexibility to work later when necessary No weekends Requirements This\nposition requires: A valid Texas\nDriver's License Passing a pre-employment drug screen & background check · Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and work in\n various positions for extended periods Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds TSBPE Apprentice Registration: ​ Current registration with the Texas State Board of\nPlumbing Examiners (TSBPE) is preferred but not required at the time of\napplication. Candidates selected for employment who are not currently licensed\nmust submit an online Apprentice Plumber registration application through the TSBPE\nwebsite and complete the required fingerprinting before their first day of\nemployment. Obtaining and maintaining an active TSBPE Apprentice Plumber\nregistration is a condition of continued employment in this position.
