What you'll do
- Assist the senior electrical Engineer in planning, design, and coordination of an electrical system
- Help develop power distribution, lighting, low-voltage, and life safety system designs
- Prepare construction documents
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
- Support projects through construction
- Collaborate with architects, owners, contractors, and internal teams to solve technical challenges
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 3+ years of experience in an electrical engineering role
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; experience with electrical system design and analysis software preferred
- Experience designing building power distribution, lighting, emergency/standby power, and low-voltage systems preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with project teams
- Ability to provide timely, dependable, and professional service while supporting project execution in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of NEC, energy codes (ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC), engineering principles, and basic project budgeting and financial concepts

As a Project Designer at Ware Malcomb, you will assist the senior electrical Engineer in the planning, design, and coordination of an electrical system.
