Description Location: Roseburg, OR (Supporting all of Douglas County) About Premier Community Supports Premier Community Supports, LLC hires Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who provide high-quality, person-centered care to Individuals living with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities through in-home and community-based services, including day programs, positive behavior supports, and 24-hour residential assistance. Founded on integrity, quality, and a genuine passion for our work, our experienced team reliably delivers safe, engaging, and customized care. We partner closely with families, guardians, case managers, and other caregivers to deeply understand the Individual’s needs and goals. Through collaborative planning and a fun, supportive environment, we empower Individuals to thrive at home and in the community. Position Summary We’re seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support and uphold compliance, quality standards, and documentation across our services. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure programs meet internal policies and regulatory requirements while continuously improving systems and outcomes. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and passionate about maintaining high standards in human services environments. Quality Assurance & Compliance Audit records and documentation to ensure compliance with PCS policies, procedures, and applicable government requirements, including DSP and Individual/Family information, Service Agreements, protocols, Medication Administration Records (MARs), progress notes, EVV, safety documentation, training, and other required records. Identify deficiencies, trends, and additional areas requiring monitoring; communicate findings to the Quality Assurance Director and recommend corrective actions or process improvements. Run and review reports, accurately interpret findings, and document results to support ongoing quality assurance and compliance. Protocol & Safety Plan Oversight Audit protocols and safety plans upon completion and annually thereafter to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Coordinate needed revisions with County Managers and notify the Quality Assurance Director of overdue, incomplete, or deficient protocols and safety plans. Training & Staff Support Assist the Quality Assurance Director with training new QA staff and providing retraining to current staff as needed. Support staff understanding and implementation of PCS policies, procedures, safety practices, and quality standards. Relationship & Communication Management Develop and maintain effective working relationships with PCS staff, Community Developmental Disability Programs, government agencies, community partners, Individuals and families, and other stakeholders as appropriate. Communicate professionally and effectively through phone, email, text, meetings, and in-person interactions. Safety & Office Operations Understand and consistently implement PCS safety practices and procedures. Manage assigned office responsibilities, including phone calls, walk-ins, meetings, correspondence, and other administrative tasks while maintaining effective time management and attending required meetings. Travel locally and outside the area as needed to fulfill job responsibilities. Perform additional duties, projects, and organizational initiatives as assigned in support of PCS operations and mission. Travel locally or out of the area as needed Complete special projects and other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications & Skills Working knowledge of human services systems and regulatory environments Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret data, identify issues, and recommend solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard office systems Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively Education, Experience & Credentials High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required. One year of experience in human services is preferred. One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred. Valid driver’s license and/or government-issued identification, as applicable to the position and responsibilities of the role. If driving is required, maintain an acceptable driving record, current automobile insurance, and the ability to travel for work-related purposes, when required by the position. Successfully complete all required state and agency background checks prior to and throughout employment, as applicable. Successfully complete and maintain all required state and agency certifications, credentials, and training throughout employment, including Medication Administration, Oregon Intervention System (OIS), CPR/First Aid, and any other training required for the position or Individual(s) supported.
