Receiving Dispatcher 1st shift

Summary:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe Dispatcher is responsible for the timely and accurate entering of all shipment information into PRMS and maintaining documents/files in accordance with company policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the coordination of shipping and receiving activities, including dock usage.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nJob Function Statements - Essential Functions:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nCommunicate with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Transportation, Customer Service, and the rest of the team on a regular basis (conference calls, proactive communication and information sharing as needed). \r\nMaintaining supplies and ordering as needed (includes office supplies, BOL\'s, templates, etc.)\r\nDispatch all outbound loads, confirm destination, and seal trailers.\r\nAccurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMS.\r\nFollowing proper documentation procedures.\r\nShip confirmation of Customer orders.\r\nShuttle BOL\'s, e-mails, documents, and communication.\r\nCompliance to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.\r\nOversee VOICE Queue to disseminate work to all associates. Troubleshoot system issues to ensure workflow continues. \r\nResponsible for order assignment que and truck check in.\r\nMaintain all paperwork, files, and documents according to company policy and procedure.\r\nControl movement/loading of all empty pallet and bin trailers. All full trailers to be communicated to Transportation, so that carrier pick-ups can be arranged.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned.\r\nRegular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nExcel, Word and Outlook computer software skills.\r\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced, constant-changing environment. \r\nTeam-oriented with good interpersonal skills; able to communicate with all levels of the organization. \r\nAbility to work holidays, days, nights and weekends as necessary. \r\nCapable of working in a cold (34 degrees Fahrenheit) and wet environment.\r\nBasic math skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOther Desired Qualifications/Skills:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Polish.\r\nAS400 computer software skills.\r\nInventory experience.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n1-2 years of dispatch or related experience.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nEducation/Training:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nHigh School Diploma
