The Regulatory Compliance Intern is responsible for supporting the Product Engineering team in maintaining accurate regulatory requirements for products. This role will develop and maintain processes designed to ensure regulatory compliance. This position reports to the Product Engineering Lead responsible for raw materials. This team is located in Logan, UT and will be an on-site role. What you will do: Work directly with Product Managers, Product Engineers, and Sales Representatives to update Safety Data Sheets. Assist in the creation, revision, and maintenance of GHS-compliant product labels. Compare existing SDS and labels against current regulatory requirements and identify potential gaps. Verify chemical composition, hazard classifications, precautionary statements, and labeling information Who you are: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental science, biology, occupational safety, public health, or a related technical field. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, think critically, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Public health organizations or environmental health positions Knowledge of OSHA Hazard Communication (HazCom) requirements. Strong organizational and time management skills. Working with local, state, or international regulatory agencies designed to protect public health.
