About the RoleThe Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.Our ValuesPut Patients FirstEmpower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care TeamsOperate with Integrity & ExcellenceBe InnovativeWork As One TeamWhat You'll DoUse the nursing process and practice standards to guide patient care management.Assess patient conditions, identify early signs of complications, and respond effectively.Delegate responsibilities appropriately to licensed and unlicensed personnel.Apply knowledge of the clinical information system to accurate patient documentation.Prioritize holistic care that addresses patients’ physical and emotional needs.Carry out the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary care planning, and document according to standards while validating the patient’s and caregiver’s understanding of the care plan and expected outcomes.QualificationsAt least one year of RN experience and knowledge in an acute Medical-Surgical unit Active, current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of CaliforniaGraduate of an Accredited School of NursingAHA Basic Life SupportAbility to read, write and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to maintain flexibility and composure in a constantly changing environment.Environmental Job Requirements and Working ConditionsOur organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780.The total compensation target pay range for this role is $41.00 - $62.00 per hour.
