Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a media and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter. Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations to appropriate personnel. Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and documenting security-related incidents, unusual conditions, and policy violations. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
