What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, appliance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues; respond to service tickets and follow through.
- Keep areas clean, safe, and compliant, and update residents and office staff on repairs.
What you need
- Requires 1+ year of related experience or equivalent education and experience, a valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle, and ability to live within 30 minutes of the property.
- HVAC / EPA / CFC certification is preferred, but not required.

The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician who likes figuring out what’s wrong and making it right. You’ll keep our 415-unit community running smoothly and our residents happy. A typical day might include:
Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues
Responding quickly to service tickets and following through to completion
Keeping interior and exterior areas clean, safe, and compliant with company standards and applicable laws
Keeping residents and office staff informed with clear, friendly updates on repairs

What You’ll Earn
Base pay:
$20.00–$23.00 per hour
Housing perk:
Up to 50% rent discount
Commissions:
Share in property staff renewal commissions
Morgan Essentials:
$300 every quarter
On-call pay:
$15 per day for carrying the on-call phone
Health coverage:
Medical, dental, and vision
Retirement:
401(k) with company match
Time off:
Generous PTO, including 10 paid holidays and sick leave
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Paid rotating on-call duty
Availability for emergency situations
Schedule may change based on business needs
What You Bring
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
Ability to live within 30 minutes of the property
1+ year of related experience (or equivalent education and experience)
HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred, but not required
