What you'll do
- Provide pediatric social work services
- Help patients and families adapt to illness
- Help patients and families access health care and community resources
- Deliver developmentally appropriate, family-centered support
- Promote continuity of care and positive outcomes
What you need
- Master’s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work required
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Master Social Worker, or Licensed Master Social Worker Advanced Practice license issued by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council required
- Previous health care employment, a health care specialization in schooling, or a health care fieldwork practicum required
