Job Summary Seasonal part-time position, providing administrative and accounting support for the preparation of clients’ tax returns, bookkeeping, and associated systems. Primary Responsibilities Support the preparation of individual and business income tax returns, including data entry, document management, basic tax research, and other associated tasks. Support the development of accurate and appropriate recording of clients’ revenues and expenses through the use of industry appropriate and authorized AI tools. Maintain client confidentiality, adhere to privacy and data security standards, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Key Requirements Education: Current enrollment as a junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Accounting, with a demonstrated interest in tax, or a graduate student actively pursuing an advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation. Coursework: Completion of individual or business tax courses at an accredited institution. Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. General software and computer hardware skills is required. Adobe Acrobat experience is preferred. Soft Skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication. Attention to detail and highly organized. Possesses professionalism and judgment. Thrives in a collaborative, team-player office environment. Dependable, honest, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality. Good analytical, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently. Effectively work with new and changing situations. Schedule 20 hours minimum per week, February 1 through April 15. (Daily schedule based on availability.)
