Position Overview
St. Mary Catholic School in Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a full-time fourth grade teacher. St. Mary serves approximately 450 students in preschool through eighth grade and follows the Archdiocese of Denver curriculum standards, available at https://archden.org/schools/office-catholic-schools/curricula/.

Primary Responsibilities
Advance the educational goals of St. Mary Catholic School and support the mission of the Catholic Church.
Provide engaging, empowering, in-person instruction in a private-school setting.
Plan and deliver daily lessons in mathematics, social studies, science, language arts, and religion in alignment with Archdiocese of Denver elementary standards and benchmarks.
Design learning experiences informed by current best practices in education.
Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate instruction, support students, and strengthen the school community.
Use positive, effective classroom-management practices and create a safe, orderly, and nurturing learning environment.
Assess student learning, monitor progress, and communicate clearly and professionally with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.

Compensation:
Annual Compensation $42,424 - $61,171 based on experience

Essential Requirements
Be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
Hold a teaching license or certificate valid in Colorado, or be willing to obtain Colorado teaching licensure.

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and mover schoolroom items as needed
