What you need
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with focus on transportation design
- Louisiana Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience working with DOTD developing and delivering highway design projects
- Experience with DOTD design methods, plan preparation, standards, and specifications
- Proficiency with Bentley InRoads, OpenRoads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a project team
- Self-motivated with adaptability to evolving projects and client needs
- Knowledge of virtual collaboration tools such as ProjectWise and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with local governmental agencies and municipalities developing and delivering transportation design projects
