We are technician-driven and deeply committed to a “work-as-a-team” culture where every role is valued and supported.About the Role – Veterinary AssistantWe are seeking a Veterinary Assistant with some prior assistant experience and a genuine passion for animal care. In this role, you will provide daily care, feeding, and exercise for boarding pets, closely monitoring them for any signs of stress or changes in behavior. You’ll assist our veterinary technicians and veterinarians by maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment and surgery areas, and by following proper feeding and sanitation procedures.This role also involves in-person client interaction, so strong communication and customer service skills are key. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is a great culture fit—someone who thrives in a technician-led, collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with a supportive, team-oriented staff.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Provide daily care, feeding, and monitoring for hospitalized and boarding petsAssist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and proceduresSafely restrain animals and support a technician-driven, team-oriented workflowMaintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment, exam, and surgery areasTake and schedule appointments and gather accurate patient historiesPerform basic diagnostics, monitor anesthesia, and assist with dental cleaningsConduct diagnostic imaging, including radiographsFollow proper sanitation, handling, and patient-care protocolsSkills Knowledge and ExpertiseHigh school diploma or GED requiredPreferred have at least 1 year of veterinary medicine experience Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and other hospital staff.
