Scott Electric Company has a current opening for a Warehouse Training Coordinator at our Greensburg, PA warehouse, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm + OT. Position Summary: Scott Electric, a wholesale electrical distributor, is seeking a dependable, patient, and hands-on Warehouse Trainer to help new employees develop the skills needed to work safely, accurately, and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys teaching others, setting a positive example, and helping employees succeed. Responsibilities Train entry-level employees in warehouse procedures, including order picking, packing, stocking, and shipping Demonstrate how to identify electrical products, locate inventory, and verify item numbers and quantities Teach employees to use warehouse systems accurately Reinforce safe lifting, proper material handling, housekeeping, and company safety procedures Provide hands-on instruction, observe employee performance, and offer clear, constructive feedback Track training progress and communicate readiness, challenges, and additional training needs to warehouse management Help employees build accuracy and productivity while following established procedures Coordinate equipment training with authorized personnel and ensure employees operate equipment only when trained and authorized Assist with daily warehouse duties as needed Qualifications Previous warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience Prior experience training or mentoring employees Strong communication skills and the patience to work with people at different experience levels Good attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Dependable attendance and a commitment to safe work practices Ability to perform warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, and handling materials, with or without reasonable accommodation Scott Electric offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Tuition reimbursement Paid holidays Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Schedule: 8-hour shift Work Location: In person
