Job Description: Job Summary MPS is seeking an Applications Engineering Intern to join our team. This is a full time internship opportunity, ideally for at least 12 weeks. Timeline can be flexible for Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer. The qualified Applications Engineer (AE) interns will learn about the company, business, products, technology, and team. The intern will be engaged with the AE team providing technical support and development of analog IC and module products for DC-DC power conversion solutions. Job duties include the simulation and bench evaluation for new products, providing reference designs, debugging customer designs, and writing application notes. Responsibilities Research MPS company, power products and technology. Provide application support for customers and Field Application Engineers (FAE). Work with AEs and DEs on new product evaluation and debugs. Write application notes, design notes, and articles. Present project summary and results to senior leadership. Qualifications Written and verbal proficiency in English with excellent communication skills. Hands on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing. Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout. Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate electrical engineering studies. Location: San Jose, CA Kirkland, WA Detroit, MI Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons.
