What you'll do

Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff
Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients and change linens
Obtain information on patient condition as requested by nursing staff
Report any changes in patient condition

What you need

3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years
Completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years
Completed the “fundamentals of nursing” course with clinical in an accredited nursing program or practical nursing education program
Must have Missouri CNA License or obtain MO CNA license within 120 days of hire
BLS must be obtained within 90 days
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
