The position is designed for an early-career professional interested in developing expertise in healthcare supply chain, contracting, sourcing, and negotiations. The Analyst will initially assume responsibility for defined operational activities, including Letters of Commitment (LOCs), Standardization Incentive Programs (SIPs), contract research, documentation, and request tracking, while progressively developing the skills necessary to support and independently manage more complex contract pricing optimization activities.
This role works closely with the Optimization Manager, Supply Chain leadership, clinical subject-matter experts, suppliers, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Review contract documentation and summarize relevant commercial terms, requirements, and opportunities.
Compare proposed contract pricing and terms against existing member arrangements and applicable GPO agreements.
Support preparation and analysis for supplier negotiations.

LOC & SIP Management
Coordinate Letters of Commitment and Supplier Information Package workflows from intake through completion.
Ensure submissions are complete, accurate, appropriately documented, and progressed through the required process.
Maintain visibility into pending requests, outstanding information, and required follow-up.
Communicate with internal stakeholders, members, our GPO partner, and suppliers as appropriate to resolve outstanding items.
Supplier & Contract Support
Work with suppliers to obtain pricing, contract documentation, and other information necessary to evaluate opportunities.
Support negotiations through research, pricing analysis, contract review, and preparation of supporting information.
Identify terms or proposals requiring clarification, additional analysis, or negotiation.
Develop supplier and category knowledge to support increasingly independent ownership of assigned categories.
Portfolio Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate tracking of S2, SIP, and LOC activity across assigned categories.
Monitor contract expiration dates, active opportunities, member participation, and other portfolio requirements.
Support reporting related to contract activity, member impact, pricing improvement, savings, and other performance measures.
Collaborate with the broader Sourcing and Supply Chain team to identify opportunities across members, suppliers, and categories.
Work Experience, Education, and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience required.
1–3 years of experience in contracting, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, healthcare, legal support, or a related field preferred.
Experience reviewing contracts or commercial agreements preferred.
Paralegal, contract administration, procurement, sourcing, or healthcare supply chain experience preferred.
Exposure to supplier negotiations or other commercial discussions preferred.
Experience working with healthcare purchasing and/or GPO arrangements is a plus.
