Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Part-Time Solstice at Point Defiance | Tacoma, WA Approximately 20 Hours per Week | Flexible Scheduling | Therapist-Owned Company Independence Rehab Independence Rehab is seeking a Part-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our outpatient therapy team at Solstice at Point Defiance , a well-regarded assisted living facility in Tacoma, Washington. About the Position You'll provide outpatient occupational therapy services to residents of Solstice at Point Defiance, working closely with the supervising Occupational Therapist and other healthcare professionals. This part-time position offers approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate patient needs and support work-life balance. Responsibilities Provide individualized occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed OT. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, transfers, and adaptive techniques. Support residents in improving strength, coordination, safety, and independence. Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately and promptly. Collaborate with the therapy team to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.
