Dental Lab Technician (Appliance Ortho)

We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician (Appliance Ortho) opportunity at NDX Lords Dental Studio in De Pere, WI . This is a trainee position that requires no experience. Hands-on, paid training is provided. The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday , and subject to change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position: Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist Fabrication of vacuum formed appliances Finishing of occlusal guards and orthodontic appliances Polishing of occlusal guards and orthodontic appliances Processing of occlusal guards All other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Check accuracy of articulation Minimum Education and Experience Required: Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used: Bunson Burner Alcohol Torch Sharp Tools Hot Wax Electronic Hand Piece Bench Lathe Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation Ability to effectively communicate technical information Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color
