About this position
Pinnacle is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will have a passion for serving others and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Current Openings
1 opening, FT: Monday - Friday between 9a and 5p. Schedule is flexible. Experience as a direct support professional required.
2 openings, PT: Monday - Friday between 9am-5pm. Schedule is flexible. Experience as a direct support professional required.
1 Opening, PT: 24hr shift Friday 9a to Saturday 930a. Comfortable with high behaviors, Experience as a direct support professional required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct care and support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Ensure the individuals you support receive appropriate care for their medical and behavioral needs.
Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support, their families, and other stakeholders.
Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
DSP experience and comfort supporting behavioral needs
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to pass a State of Oregon background check
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
