- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Broad knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of terminology involved in surgical procedures and equipment.
- Ability to operate office equipment.
- Education: a high school diploma

Job Description: Performs a variety of scheduling and data collection functions in support of Surgical Services. Communicates information to appropriate departments/individuals in order to facilitate the surgery schedule and surgical statistics.
Shift: M-F 8:00a-4:30p
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Broad knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of terminology involved in surgical procedures and equipment.
Ability to operate office equipment.
Preferred: Two (2) year of surgical scheduling.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Unit Secretary or Scheduling Secretary from a physician’s office. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within 3 months.
