What you'll do
- Provides pre-operative nursing care as a circulating and scrub nurse, and sets up and maintains surgical areas, equipment and instruments.
- Performs duties in endoscopy, cystology, orthopedics, vascular and general surgery, and provides PACU relief coverage.
What you need
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
- Current and valid NC or compact state license to practice professional nursing.
- BCLS certified.
- Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to all age groups of patients.
- Education: a bachelor's degree or a postgraduate degree

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Operating Room
Shift: 6:30am-7:00pm M-F
6:30a-7:00pm 3 days/week
Job Description: Provides professional nursing care pre-operatively. Acts as circulating nurse and scrub nurse. Performs specified duties for the set-up and maintenance of surgical areas, equipment and instruments. Performs functions in endoscopy, cystology, orthopedics, vascular, and general surgical cases. Provides relief coverage in PACU.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
Current and valid NC or compact state license to practice professional nursing.
BCLS certified.
Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to all age groups of patients.
Preferred: BSN; MSN; One year of previous experience as an RN; new graduates will be considered.
Experience: One year of previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care unit preferred but not required. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of the job in 6 months.
