What you'll do
- Provide professional primary nursing care to ante partum, laboring, postpartum, and gynecological patients
- Provide professional primary nursing care to medical/surgical overflow patients
- Provide professional primary nursing care to orthopedic patients
- Demonstrate competence in duties specific to newborn, adult, and orthopedic patients
What you need
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current, valid and unrestricted RN license from NC or compact state.
- BLS certification.
- CPI certification required at first opportunity after hire.
- NRP knowledge of fetal monitoring and orthopedic specific training within 1 year of hire.
- Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to newborn and adult, and orthopedic patients.
- Education: a bachelor's degree or a postgraduate degree

Job Description: Provides professional primary nursing care to ante partum, laboring, postpartum, and gynecological patients; medical/surgical overflow patients; and orthopedic patients.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current, valid and unrestricted RN license from NC or compact state.
BLS certification.
CPI certification required at first opportunity after hire.
NRP knowledge of fetal monitoring and orthopedic specific training within 1 year of hire.
Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to newborn and adult, and orthopedic patients.
Preferred: BSN, MSN, National Board Certification in Clinical area of Specialty.
Experience: No experience required. Given training an on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within 3 months.
