Plant Health Care Technician (A-Budget)

A Budget Tree Service | Winter Springs, FL Do you enjoy working outdoors and taking care of trees, plants, and landscapes? A Budget Tree Service is looking for a dependable, hardworking Plant Health Care Technician to join our team in Winter Springs. This is a hands on role where you'll work outdoors, learn about tree and plant health, and help keep our customers' trees, shrubs, and landscapes healthy. Experience in landscaping, lawn care, tree care, or spraying is a plus. We're willing to train someone who has the right attitude and wants to learn. What You'll Do Apply treatments to trees, shrubs, and lawns to help keep them healthy. Spray fertilizers and pest control products using company equipment. Help identify insects, diseases, and other issues affecting plants and trees. Operate and maintain spray equipment and other tools. Follow safety guidelines when handling and applying treatment products. Work with customers and explain basic treatment recommendations. Keep equipment clean and maintain accurate job records. Assist with other tree care and landscaping work as needed. What We're Looking For Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, tree care, or plant health care is required. Willingness to learn about trees, plants, insects, and plant health treatments. Pesticide applicator license is preferred, but we're open to someone willing to obtain one. Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather. Dependable, hardworking, and willing to be part of a team. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license. Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid certification. What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance.
