Job Description: The LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. The LPN accurately collects data need for the appropriate portion of the integrated assessment. The LPN must have a knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures. Communicates changes in the patient’s condition to the (RN) We look for nurses who demonstrate competent patient care, good communication and relationship skills; ability to set boundaries, hold confidences, establish and maintain trust; social maturity, emotional stability, self-confidence and assertiveness.
