What you'll do
- Assist the Air Conditioning Foreman and mechanics with assigned duties and support other Facilities Services areas as requested.
- Help evaluate system needs to maintain critical campus heating and cooling systems.
What you need
- <strong>Education:</strong>
- High School diploma or GED
- EPA refrigerant handling certificate
- <strong>Experience:</strong> <ul><li>Three years of experience or trade school and experience. (Experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis.)
- <strong>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: </strong><ul><li>Ability to understand standard equipment operating and handling safety protocols
- Needs mechanical knowledge and skills to service and repair HVAC systems and related equipment
- Ability to maintain a good leave record
- Ability to follow given instructions and keep records
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment-based visa status.
- <strong>Education:</strong> <ul><li>Vocational or technical training
- <strong>Experience:</strong> <ul><li>One year of vocational school or one year in a mechanical trade.
- <strong>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: </strong><ul><li>Technical skills acquired in installing, servicing or repairing HVAC systems.
