More about our team  In our 18- Bed Medical Surgical Unit, you’ll be supported every step of the way as you begin your nursing career. Our evidence-based Nurse Residency Program provides hands-on, structured support to help you transition from a new graduate to a confident, competent registered nurse. You’ll be automatically enrolled in our comprehensive 12-month program, structured across three key phases: clinical competence, culture transition, and leadership development. Each phase is thoughtfully designed to guide your growth, strengthen your skills, and build confidence in delivering patient care. You’ll benefit from: * Paid participation throughout all phases of the program  * Flexible, self-paced learning through engaging modules and knowledge checks  * Dedicated one-on-one support from a trained preceptor to help you build clinical skills and transition to managing your own patient assignments  * Exposure to key topics such as patient safety, communication, healthcare business, and change management  * Completion of a Capstone project focused on evidence-based practice, with guidance and support every step of the way   How you’ll contribute  A New Graduate RN who excels in this role:   * Demonstrates a commitment to patient-centered care by performing comprehensive assessments, identifying patient needs, and initiating appropriate interventions.   * Communicates effectively with patients, families, and team members to deliver safe, high-quality care.   * Exhibits adaptability and resilience while effectively managing time and prioritizing patient care in a fast-paced environment.   * Shows curiosity and a willingness to learn by asking questions, seeking feedback, and continuously building clinical knowledge and confidence.      What we’re looking for   Passionate New Graduates who have a   * Degree from an accredited nursing school  * Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. * Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
